Contradictions: Real food

July 18, 2010

So I try to eat low-carb, until the desert is too fantabulous.

Then I try to eat real food.

I discovered this through Nina Plank (after having won this book through a contest with Jimmy Moore).

It really made sense. Get rid of the processed food. But then go further with raw milk and grass fed beef. But I live in Canada, where raw milk is illegal. And I live in Northern Quebec, where there is no beef.

But slowly I find things. Some eggs, some farmers.

And the whole thing does make sense.

And quite frankly feeding your kids with other things than just empty calories really makes a mother feel great.
