Retail Therapy, how come?

August 2, 2010

I shouldn’t need this. I should at least be buying Canadian made, of recycled organic material, or better, from a second hand shop. It’s not; it’s all made in China or other country that can underpay its workers. So we arrive in the big city from our small town, and what’s the first thing we do? Like a bunch of Country bumpkins, we hit the stores. Like don’t have any where we live. My daughters just as bad as I. And we buy a bunch of stuff, and it makes us happy. Why do we need this? We have clothes at home. But we buy the cheaply made stuff. We’ll see how long this lasts. Aren’t we supposed to be environmentalists?
